Situated in the heart of the west country, just off the M5, North Petherton is located along the A38 between Bridgwater and Taunton. The rugby club was established in 1893 and can be found at its Beggars Brook ground on the southern outskirts of the town on the A38. We can guarantee that playing or visiting, you will get a warm, friendly welcome.
North Petherton RFC run three senior teams, with the 1st XV competing in the Tribute South West 1 (West) Division, the 2nd XV competing in the Somerset One and the 3rd XV playing in the Somerset Three South. The Under 18s compete in the Somerset Under 18s league.
The 2014-15 season sees the Pethy Ladies in their first ever league action following a number of friendly games last season. They are competing in the Womens National Challenge South West South 2 League.
The club also run a Veterans side and a thriving Minis and Junior section covering all age groups up to Under 16s.
The club is always looking to recruit new players of any age or ability. The Senior and Under 18 sides train every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 18:45, the Ladies on Thursday evenings at 19:00 and the Youth sides on Sunday mornings from 10:00.
