For the first time this season Pethy 3rds had a full squad with reserves and optimistically travelled down to Wellington
Pethy took the game to the opponents with a mixture of forwards and backs combining and it was not long before Pethy went over the line to score their first try through Toby Harris who also scored again later in the game.
Debutant Shelton Jones also went over with the support of a good drive from the forwards in a driving maul started by a pass from Andy Prowse.
In the last few minutes of the game Petherton had a penalty 5 meters out from Wellington's try line and a devastating turn of pace from Gavin Wolfe who darted over for the final score.
All in all a great performance from the whole team who did the club proud.
