Wyvern 8 v 3 North Petherton

Petherton went in to the game optimistic they could prevent the Taunton based side from completing the double, however, Wyvern had different ideas and after 2 minutes they were 5- 0 up !

Wyvern tore into their opponents and camped themselves on Pethys line for 5 minutes. Petherton showed resolute defence and 3 times throughout the game Wyvern were held up. Petherton played their best rugby when they went through phases, however opportunities were wasted through sloppy handling or lack of support. Petherton scored their points through a penalty in the first half.
