North Petherton III 14 v 7 Wellington III

This home game for North Petherton followed so many with the habitual slow start and with an error strewn first half. A penalty miss by each side ensured the half finished with honours even at 0 - 0.

Wellington came out in the 2nd half with more desire and took the lead with a breakaway try, which was converted. This seemed to spark Petherton into life and they came up with 2 quick tries from Stenson and Winter both converted by Sutherland-Earl. With the referee putting us out of our misery the full time score was 14 - 7.
