Annual Awards 2011
An excellent evening was had by all at Beggars Brook on Friday 6th May as the club toasted an entertaining season. The Captains and Speakers agreed that the club had moved forward with the standard and style of rugby and the improvements in the organisation of the club.
First team Captain Matt Angel thanked the many people who work behind the scenes and summarised the season into two halves, emphasised by 10 victories in the last 14 games.
Second team Captain Ben Williams congratulated the players on their effort and reinforced Matt's views particularly emphasising the roles of Chairman Bill Frost and 1st team manager John Evans that they play in the club.
Third team captain Brian Stenson spoke of a typical third team side!!The following players and members were awarded for their achievements during the 2010/11 season. Congratulations to them all.
