NPRFC Annual Club Dinner 2009

North Petherton Rugby Club held its annual club dinner on the 15th May 2009 and celebrated another highly successful season which ended with promotion for the club's First and Second Team's. The First team were promoted to the Western Counties West division, a level of rugby which the club has never reached before. The Second Team were also promoted to the Somerset Two South league after playing in Somerset Three since 2006 when second and third teams were first entered into the Somerset league structure.

The club was also able to celebrate the return of the Third Team after three seasons without matches due to lack of players. The Colts were also celebrating a highly successful season during which they won over 90% of their games and, with only a few players moving up to senior rugby next season, they will be confident going into the newly created Colts league at the start of next season.
