Limerick 2006 - 4th to 7th May

North Petherton's tour of Limerick has now come and gone. Many thanks to Chris Hancock, Steve Sullivan, and (even though he could not get us a tour game) Scott Walker for organising this year's trip.

There were a few beer-related casualties this year. The look on the face of Matt Brown on the Sunday indicated the punishing amount of drinking that had been undertaken and, other than Matt Burge sparking a possible international incident with the Israeli Under-19 Water Polo team in the hotel (fortunately sorted out by John 'Kofi Annan' Evans), the tour passed off without a hitch.

Former Munster and Ireland Prop Forward Peter Clohessy's retirement fund also benefited greatly from the Petherton Beer Kitty, as most of the weekend was spent in one of his bars.

There were a number of photos taken over the weekend by a few of the tourists. They are in the process of being cobbled together and will appear in the photo gallery soon.
