Petherton crash at home

A poor performance at home on Saturday ended North Petherton's unbeaten run in league, as they were out-muscled up-front by Imperial. Petherton struggled to keep hold of their own ball in the scrum and were unable to secure enough quick ball from the break down to get their running game going. The match report can be seen here.

Petherton's defeat means that they have now slipped to third in the table behind unbeaten leaders Old Sulians and Winscombe. Broad Plain also remain unbeaten but are one place below Pethy on points difference.

Petherton's Seconds also lost away at their Wiveliscombe counterparts, although they were again hampered by a number of player unavailabilities. Having taken only 13 players, and playing a man short throughout, they were unfortunate to lose in the last 10 minutes. View the match report here.

Wells Seconds and Bridgwater Thirds maintained their unbeaten records this weekend in Somerset Three, whilst Weston Thirds had the biggest result of the day against their Taunton counterparts. The Second team remain in eighth position in the Somerset Three South division. All of the results from Saturday can be seen below.
