North Petherton II 16 v 6 Minehead Barbarians II

Petherton finished their season with a comprehensive victory against a resilient Minehead side. Despite the score line Petherton never looked in any danger of losing, dominating both territory and possession throughout the game and if it wasn't for Minehead's excellent defence the score would have been a lot bigger.

Petherton's tries were scored by powerhouses Mike Coles (2) and Ben Stewart with one conversion from Harry Roberts. Minehead scored two penalties in reply.

Petherton can now enjoy the summer with pre-season some two months away and with a potentially lot bigger squad available for next season with the emergence of a number of colts into senior rugby. Petherton should set themselves an ambitious target of promotion next season !
