NPRFC - 2nds vs Burnham II

This fixture at Burnham only went ahead because Petherton lent the home side three players and agreed to uncontested scrums. By half-time the visitors led 24-0, but they did not really rub in their superiority until the last 20 minutes.

In the first half they should have scored at least 40 points but managed to drop the ball on the Burnham line three times. With second row Mike Coles outstanding in his first game of the season, the Petherton forwards dominated and Mark Sutherland-Earl controlled the game from fly half.

Petherton's try-scorers were Nick Pocock (3), Sam Chillingworth (2), Nathan Chillingworth, Mike Chillingworth, Mike Coles, and John Webber. Sutherland-Earl added 5 conversions.
