This week it was away to Okehampton in front of a large crowd, as we took a bus load of supporters and Okehampton had their players reunion.
They were out to avenge a heavy loss to us in the first game of the season.

Pethy allowed the home side to score 2 easy first half tries, with Pethy only getting a penalty through Sam Williams. Pethy's play was littered with too many unforced errors everywhere and conceding a whole range of strange and sometimes confusing penalties which cost them territory, possession and good chances to get on the score board.

Second half Pethy scored first through replacement and future first team regular Toby Harris, after a great driving maul by the forwards. Sam was unable to convert. The home side slotted another 2 penalties to put the game out of Pethy's reach. Pethy tried their best to throw the ball around and created many opportunities, but never got the score.

On another day passes would have gone to hand, silly missed tackles would not have happened, and Okehampton wouldn't have turned the ball over as much as they did.

Many thanks to the 50 plus supporters who made the trip and thanks to Okehampton RFC for their hospitality.
